Projectile Pooping?

tommyturtle Jan 29, 2004 12:01 PM

Last night, I was cleaning my newest leo's cage. I picked him up (which I almost never do) to check his underside. All of a sudden, and I swear that this is true, he literally shot poop out his vent about a good foot right onto my shirt. And as if this wasn't enough, he then did it a second time. I'm not one of those keepers who likes to hold my lizards, and this event has reinforced that for me. An amusing story I thought I would share, as this has never happened to me. Anyone else?

Ha Ha, thats funny. I dont know why that happend. But every time I catch a frog, it does the same thing. I like chasing those huge ones that like in the creaks.

I saw one of my females in the 'poop spot' one night so I decided to sneak a look.
When I walked over and looked in at her she was just getting ready to relieve herself, then I saw it fly out, and the urate hit the glass a couple of inches away with a nice little *click*

I'm a personal support worker, poop is the name of the game in my job LOL. Now i've been pooped on by lizards and people alike but with all the schooling i did they NEVER once warned us students about projectile poop. I got to learn the hard way LOL. From one side of the bathroom to the other AND up the wall.....almost to the ceiling. Just to clarify this was a client of mine....not me LOL

Ya know you've become way to comfortable with your job and have a stomach made of iron when you can deal with any projectile bodily fluid and still be able to go eat HAHAHAHAHA

As for my geckos, they have pooped on me a few times but i havent' seen them project it. I have, however, found poop on the glass of the tank up near the top....i always wondered how they were getting their butt up there but it could have been projected LOL

i just can't stop laughing with this set of post !!!!!

i have been hit with projectile gecko poop, frog poop, bird poop, and not to mention i am a mom of 2 boys(there are some poop stories there as well! )

as for projectile bodily fluid, i can relate to that as well!
it is so funny u should mention that! LOL, just last week i was working on eating a BBQ sandwich, beans, and potatoe salad. i finally managed to finish my lunch in between assisting with 3 surgical extractions. i sat there thinking, there must be something really warped about me if i can run right in the break room and chow down on a sandwich in between patients.

and heck, with those mask... u don't even have to finish the bite in your mouth before going into the room! LOL, i am just kidding!
