I am running low on my silkworm food and wanted to know what I could give them IF I run out before the next shipment of food comes in. I'd hate for them to go to waste. I probably have enough for about the next 3 days but I know I won't have the food before then- I can't place the order til tomarrow.

They will eat the chow and mullberry leaves no they will not eat lettuce just silkworm chow and mullberry leaves.

Sorry you are wrong! I kept my silkies alive for 3 days on lettuce until my chow arrived.

Oh and they can go up to 36 hours without feeding if they must. But they will start to starve after that.
