Bedding of Choice

JoeD Jan 29, 2004 02:13 PM

I was wondering what is everyones bedding of choice for thier boas? I am getting 2 new additions to the family and was wondering what others use. I was thinking of using crushed coconut husk.

cheapest = newspaper
cleanest = cage liners try DCL liners
prettiest = Aspen
probably best for the cage enviorment and humidity... Cypress Mulch

These are just my opinions...
always used paper, tried the liners - great, aspen is nice and easy for youngsters.. not tried it on adults and also don't like that it can dry the boa/cage out a bit...
If I could find big amounts of mulch i'd get it..

just my opinions..
thanks, Joe

I use aspin bedding with my boa. I like the look better than newspaper and it is only $3 at walmart. Plus, I think he likes it better because it is thick enough for him to burrow in and he does it quite often now rather than use his hide box I have for him.
