beardies head is itching...

aligoonbaba Jun 07, 2003 08:45 AM

every so often my beardie will turn his head sideways and rub it against the papertowl on the bottom of the tank or against a rock. he's not very active as it is, but is this anything to be concerned about? one other thing, will beardies eat dead crickets?

Could be a sign of him starting to shed skin? Is he really erally LIGHT in color? That usually indicates that the new skin underneath us ready to show... And as for dead crickets, if they were once alive Like live feeder, then died in cage.. They have lost all there nutrientional value USUALLY, safe to eat, but not as healthy as live feeder. You can also buy dry feeder crickets which they store usually more nut value then lives ones b/c they are bulged before they are frozen and dryed.
