one of my fddwarfs just fell 3 feet from the top of her cage to the bottom

she seems to be fine tho, no indents in her side, and she is eating right now - that was a close one

Yea, dont worry. Chameleons like alot of reptiles, are made to take great falls to escape preditors. Also if it is falling its a worry, Chameleons Rarely fall, usually when illness occurs.

it was while she was sheding - i am assuming she tried to rub against a branch near the top while hanging upside down, and then she lost grip
