Where did you get them? I may be confusing my lizards... but I belive I catch ( & RELEASE) these in my backyard woodpile during spring/summer. .... I'm in east Texas! Actually I've been missing all my local herps... can't wait for spring!!!!

the pictured lizards were lacertids of the genus Holaspis. they're from Africa. A number of North American lizards also have blue tail: a number of skinks (Eumeces) and some whiptails (especially juvies). If they were in a woodpile, skinks make more sense.
