I put another prekilled rat into the tank and she did not eat it, I left her overnight with it right on top of her. Is this rat still ok to freeze or has it been to long.

I put another prekilled rat into the tank and she did not eat it, I left her overnight with it right on top of her. Is this rat still ok to freeze or has it been to long.
It's probably been too long. Tissue begins to break down after just a few hours (decomposition) and even if it looked okay at freezing it's likely you'd have a rotten rat after re-thawing.

I agree,after a few hours i wouldnt re-freeze it,but now after about an hour maybe a lil longer,it should be fine,but i usually dont re-freeze the rats i use,i just feed them to another snake that can eat them if its time for them to eat or throw it away.
