I am looking for a cresty pair or trio to eventually breed, and I was looking for suggestions on where to find a pair or trio for a reasonable price (besides classifieds). Everywhere i look they are selling singles that are usually stub tails, or have one and not the other for high prices.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Actually, the classifieds are loaded with decent deals on adults right now. Mike Conley with Grey Parrot Exotics has some nice pairs available and Dragon's Den Herp has adults available now too. Sandfire Dragon Ranch may also have sexable juvies available.
However, when you say "for reasonable price," I assume you're looking to find the cheapest ones you can get. If you just want average-above average cresteds, you might want to try LLL Reptile...I know they have adult females for $99 and males for less than that right now. Who knows what they look like, but that's about as cheap as I've ever seen.
Of course, you'd be better off going with a breeder (like the guys I mentioned first), but most breeders aren't going to cheap-sell their good breeding stock like that.
