ok, i have a cb mali uro. hes almost 18 months old and i want to switch him over to the dirt substrate.....to hopefully make him feel better. my question is, how much moisture does the mix need?
how moist should it be?
and should i put a thin layer of sand over the top of it?
is it ok if the top is completely dry but its moist below?
does the added moisture cause any respritory problems?
how often can i expect to see my uro? is he ever gonna come back up, or when i do this is he just gonna be under there?
i have some more questions but this should be good for now.

) is unable to answer these questions. This dirt thing is still in the experimental stage and everyone here is leery about giving answers about something they aren't really sure about themselves. Try it out and hope for the best. By the way, you might want to check out Robyn's post about the "dirt laboratory" before you begin.
