Introduction

Thought I'd stop lurking about and introduce my all time favorite snake, Edgar. He was my first Kingsnake and I was just blown away with his inquisitiveness and apparent intelligence. I have kept a BCI, various Rainbow Boas (still dig them), Childrens Pythons, a milksnake, cornsnakes, but none compare to this guy. He's about 4 years old and just shy of 6'. The pic. was taken in poor light so his yellow is washed out some, but a cool pic anyway. I was so impressed with him I picked up a female from Glades Herps (supposedly a 'Rob's Super Brooks Canal' but I'm skeptical) about two years ago. I'll post some pics of her after she sheds.
Of course now I want one of those big Easterns.

You can get a better idea of his colors with this pic.

Beautiful snake, Paul! How old is he, how big is he?

Martin,
When I got him the guy at the Reptile shop said he was about 1.5 yrs. old which considering his size at the time seems about right. He'd be between 4 and 5 now and is between 5.5 and 6 ft.
I've no idea of his lineage but was sold as a Florida King.
I'm pretty fond of him.
Thanks,
Paul
