Im almost 100% sure this guy is a male but I want to be sure before putting him with my female tommorow.
Also hes 44g & around 8-9 months old, and shes 82grams, is it ok to put them together with such a size difference??
Will he do his deed.

Looks like he is a male. And no he will not. They need to be closer in size and weight (give or take 5-10 grams, not 30-40 grams).

That's a female. By that size the pores on the underside should be a very dark color. The picture was just posted is a male, so you can see the big difference.

Your gecko looks to be female! Check and feel under the geckos tail near the vent if its a male it will feel waxy if not it will feel like the rest of the tail also does it have v shaped pores above the vent. Im almost 99.9% sure thats female but the pics arent the greatest I could tell if the pics were better for sure.

Hey Jack!

The top pictures look more female (I think it's the focus) but the bottom pic looks like a male to me! There is one way to find out... put him in with the female, and if his tail "rattles" it's a male! Watch carefully, because there is a fairly large size difference, and if the female is not receptive, sho could beat him up.

I just put him in with my albino girl which is the one Im most sure of its a girl and no tail wagging. But its had a rough day since Ive been cheking it for sex (It didnt want any LOL) and taking pics and that one doesnt like being held.

Also I felt under its vent and didnt feel waxy.

Also I cant see the pores unless I use a magnifiyng glass, and it looks the same as in my other gex which I think are females.

The thing is I was told it when I bought it they though it was 90% gonna be a male.

What do you guys think now, female??
