Anyone have luck using lizard maker to entice scarlet kings or alterna??

The product seems interesting. Maybe you could scent some mouse tails with it until the snakes got bigger. I used mouse maker when it first came out with mixed results.

Anyone use the product?

I tried it with my Florida Scarlet King and it had no effect at all.

I tried this product on a Female Durango that refuses to eat unless scented.

I tried a few different approaches.

1. I tried thawing the pinky with a couple of drops of marker in the water.

2. I placed the marker directly on the food item after washing and drying the pinky.

3. I tried the bait and switch. I offered her a real lizard scented item then pulled it away and switched it immediately with the chemical marker item. She refused it.

4. I then tried scenting with real lizard that she accepted immediately followed by the chemical marker item and again refused that item.

Not real impressed with lizard marker. On the other hand, I may have one very picky Durango……Dann

Ive tried it w/no luck,,luckily i live in houston and dont need it as the real thing is just a step outside,,BTW i have 1.2 SK's now but still have not gotten any of them to accept rodents as a food source,,,,,,thomas

I guess it is a waste of time and money. The sk's are pretty tough to get onto rodents imo. Some collectore I met at the NARBC told me large wc adults would take live pinks with no probs. However, I have NOT found this to be the case with babies.
