Ok, is the weather going to have an effect on the show this saturday? or am I just being paranoid???

It should be alright. They've had the roads salted pretty well and the show is pretty much right in the city. I can email you if anything major comes up but I'm not really concerned. Well, I'm personally not going to be there because of class, but my husband will.
It's going to be REALLY cold, though, so plan ahead in case you bring someone home. I'd probably bring a styrofoam cooler and some heatpacks.

thanks, we're planning on leaving about 6 in the morning so we can get there when it starts. And we've already got the "transporter" ready :] cardboard lined with 1 inch thick styrofoam, it'll hold its temperature in the truck for HOURS

The roads are usually fine at 6 am. It's between 12 and 4 am that you run into problems.
The coolest thing about Taiwan beauties is... they have blue tongues. Fun fact.
