My Sammy has liver problems

turtlegrl22 Jan 30, 2004 03:41 AM

I posted a message about a month ago about my aprox 10-15 year old beardie loosing muscle mass well over the last couple weeks trying to get him back up to health I finally brought him to the vet when he started refusing food. between the weight loss, dehydration and mild jondus my vet figures he's more than likely having liver complications but there is no sighs of inflammation so my vet an I are both hoping we can get him healthy. So now my poor baby now has to have fluid injections to help with his dehydration (which came on in a mater of days), seringe feeding, and baytril injections as well. I though I'd let those interested know what his "guarded" prognosis was.

I would sure like to see the information you have. I try to keep a file of information to reference when problems start popping up.
Take care,
