Well, last nite while feeding my fish, I have two crawfish in the tank. They were originally meant for my snappers, but my wife wanted them as pets. So anyways, while feeding the fish, one crawfish grabs one of our rosies in the tank, and the other one goes after my silver tipped shark. My wife didnt want her shark to die, so we decided to make the crawfish food. I grabbed the smaller of the two up in the net and went to my snaps Abrahms' tank. Dropped the little craw in and watched the fun ensue.
Abrahms went straight for him, but the little sucker tail kicked away. So this made Abrahms mad. He followed with a vengeance. When he snapped on, he ripped the little suckers eyestalks and antenna right off. Then the little bastard grabbed a hold of Abrahms with his claws, and made Abrahms even angrier.
Abrahms got him tail first and crunched down over and over pulverizing him and then finished him off.. He sat there for a while waiting. We thought he might choke on the hard shell, but he started snapping at us thru the glass like he does when he's hungry, so we gave him some rosies to satisfy him.
The other craw met our 9" RES, and his fate was ghastly. the RES's tank just had a water change, and apparently there was no O2 content. He drowned, then got eaten..
Just wanted to share my tale...
