Draco showing off...

SilverAnkh Jan 30, 2004 09:41 AM

Yep, I've come to find out that Draco is a big 'ole ham! After doing some acrobatics into the plants, he decided to show off his gravity defying skill on a 3" high driftwood stump. You can see him here just hanging off the edge.

Oh, and can someone explain a little about the colors and such? The shop I bought draco from said he's a "HET", and should be colorful, but so far I only see the faintest orange. Granted, he's only about 2 months old. Do they gain alot of color growning up, or is this pretty much what he'll look like his whole life? Not that I care, I already love the guy and find myself spoiling him rotten!

I know I'm kind of plant-happy with him, but he seems to really love it alot...especially crawling in the tallest one (which is the only fake plant). It was especially funny to see him pull a cricket from there!

Oh, and he's eating his greens! (I hope!). I've been seeing him take some bits of the kale I left out (as well as a few bites of the live plants, which were bought from petco on a shelf specifically advertised as plants for reptile terraniums only). Also, I bought this cricket feeder rock. It's a hollow rock looking thing...two pieces with a hole/plug in the top one. It says you put in up to 40 crickets and the calcium powder and just unplug the hole to let some out, then plug it again. Anyone use this, or have any thoughts on it?

Anyways, still feeling excited about my little guy and wanted to share it
