Hi everyone...
I recently came across a WTF who had his leg amputated, and the owner was going to "put him out of his misery" even though he stated (and I can verify that...)the frog is eating well and otherwise appears healthy. He was concerned that no one would purchase the frog due to its "deformity."
Well, being the bleeding heart that I am, I took the little fella home. He's doing EXTREMELY well and I couldn't be more pleased! i just wanted to know from you experienced WTF keepers out there if there is anything special i need to do in the way of husbandry to maintain him?
I can handle the basic husbandry for WTF, and I've been successful with A. callidryas, so this is a piece of cake, but I just don't want to omit anything extra he would require due to his condition and end up hurting the little guy.
Thanks
Josh
