Lip Smacking Noise

When my ig opens his mouth he usually just started making a lip smaking noise. Is he sick? Im worried.

My iguana, Iggi, makes a smaking sound on two, very different occasions. One (which is what is happening with your ig, I think), is when she has a piece of food stuck under one of her mouth scales. and she is trying to get it out. The other is when she is giving us a kiss, and she trys to mimick the sound we make when we give her a kiss. Iggi will tick out her tongue, and at the same time, pull it away from the roof of her mouth. This creates a smaking sound.
