What is everyone housing their adult dumerils in? What is the smallest cage that an adult Dumerils should be housed in? I want to give the animals the proper amount of room but don't have any excess room to spare. Thanks
Danny

Also is the demand for Dumerils increasing or decreasing. I personally think that they are beautiful snake!
A standard cage answer would be a 4' cage, but there's a few variables. Some dumerils don't get as large as others, and would be fine in a 3' cage. It will depend from one animal to another. To be on the safe side, opt for the 4' cage if you can squeeze it in. As far as the demand goes, they're not terribly difficult to breed, so the demand that is out there is usually met with little difficulty. It doesn't seem that people are really too picky with their purchases either in most cases. By that I mean there are definitely dumerils that surpass other dumerils in terms of pattern/color. The price difference isn't that great, probably in the range of 100(dark babies) up to 150 for nicer babies. You shouldn't have much problem selling any babies you might produce, but don't expect to make a ton of profit from it either. Hope that helps a little bit, most is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth. Let us know what you decide, and be sure to post lots of pics! Take care!
