Help please!

My ball tried to eat a mouse and got halfway done, held it there for 2 hours and then finally regergitated it. Since then he's been "yawning" non-stop and seems uncomfortable. He hisses at me when I come near him (which he never did before) and he's not very active. He has eaten once since then but his lower jaw now sits on a slight diagonal. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me and him out?? Thanks!

How big was the mouse compared to the snake? It sounds like it was way too big. Either that or your snake has a health issue that needs to be addressed. The yawning is him trying to realign his jaw, he'll get it. If his condition seems to worsen, take him to a qualified Vet. Other than that, I don't really know what to tell you.

...since the snake has eaten once since then I wouldn't suspect a broken jaw. Otherwise maybe. On rare occasions snakes will dislocate their jaws during feeding and take an inordinate amount of time to re-allign, like it sounds in this case. Leave the snake alone for several days then try a smaller food item. After this if the snake continues to exhibit symptoms I strongly recommend it be checked out by a HERP vet.
