I have just aquired an older meller's rescue,
and he's got some black tissue along the very tips of his dorsal crest, long with following the bony structure of his face(i'm guessing from rubbing up against something) It doesn't look infectious, and i don't believe it's spreading.
Can I expect this tissue to regenerate? i'm assuming it's like a dried blood blister, eventually it will slough off and be pink underneath? or is the black chameleon scar tissue, that will never pigment again. He's now in a very large heavily planted room, with nothing to scrape on.
