Sounds like hes pretty skinny, I'd do all I could do to get him into a vet quick. Whats the temps in his cage? What is he on? I know your pretty young, and when you first came in here, you wouldnt listen to anyone, even though it seems as though everyone on the forum has forgotten. My male stops eating if I handle him too often, he gets stressed since he doesnt like being out much, another possibility. Good luck,
Mac
He isn't that skinny- but he is refusing meals and I don't have money for the vet, so I'm ordering some "worm guard" to see if it helps his temps are 80-88 and he is on paper towels. I'd be crushed if I lost him

If he has good weight but doesn't want to eat for a week, it's ok. But, if he is thin or losing weight and doesn't want to eat, then you need to find out what's going on with his system.
About his spine, feeling it under his skin is ok too but seeing it protruding is bad. Can you post a picture?
My point is, leos commonly stop eating for no apparent reason for short periods of time. A week is ok, 2 weeks is a little worrisome, 3 weeks is bad.
What you need to do is make sure his enclosure is warm enough, leave him alone but offer a variety of food. He could be looking to mate, stressed out a bit for some reason or just not in the mood to eat. If he doesn't want waxworms, offer something else. My leos never can resist crickets...when they turn down other things, crickets always get their attention. LOL!
So, calm down...take a breather...and keep an eye on your gecko.
I will try to scrape up enough for a fecal and see whats up thanks- Grant
