crickets going under the paper towels?

7john7 Jan 30, 2004 08:32 PM

when i put the crickets in there, they run to the edge of the tank, and somehow squeeze there way under. she doesnt have a problem eating them, but shes only a little baby, and she doesnt see them right away. anyway, ive taped the edges of the paper towel down, but its kind of a hassel to change the paper towels. has any one had this problem? anyy suggestions?

thanks, i really appreciate it.

If your leo typically goes poo in the same spot all the time (which most leos do) then what you can do is keep the taped down paper towel and change it ever week or two and put a loose layer of paper towel on top of the existing paper towel where your leo has chosen to use as a potty. Then you can just replace that paper towel daily without ripping up the whole thing. Makes for real easy cleaning. Hope this helps.

yeah... just tape em down and in her regular poop spot put a piece of paper towel or toilet paper. then just change this whenever you feel like it.
