I am trying to make my black throat as comfortable as possible and i am not sure exactly what types of cage furniture to give him. he is two feet and he is in a four foot cage. I had him in a much larger cage but he seemed realy overwheld and is doing much better now. I like him better in the 4 foot cage because it is easier to get the temps just right. Right now i have one hide box in the cage, and sometimes he will hide behind the water bowl too. Other than that i dont realy have anything else in there beacause i dont want to over crowd the cage. Are there any other things you can think of that he would need to make him more comfortable.

to 'overcrowd' the cage. It will only make it more interesting for the monitor. Remember it is people who like things all orderly, but people will not have to live there. Your monitor wants it messy.
I'm no judge of cage furniture, but I do know monitors like tight, dark spaces. So make many hides, shelves, things to squeeze under. Then you can see for yourself, what your monitor likes best. Then make more of that.
Have fun.
