My Red Neck BTS...sexual dimorphisim??

cruisinbeck Jan 31, 2004 01:36 AM

Hey all,

I did my homework before and after adding Norman, the BTS, to my home, and I'm just curious about the red neck...I've noticed from pics posted that some, but not all, BTSs have that noticably red neck. I'm also told that sexes are not discernable by color...

Is that red neck just a BTS thing? I suspect Norman to be an Irian Jaya..

Thanks, & sorry for any ignorance!

And, no, I don't think there's any way that coloring identifies one sex from the other.
What do you mean "Is that red neck just a BTS thing?" -- a BTS thing as opposed to what?

Edward,

What I was getting at with the "BTS thing" is that maybe it's common for many of them, and nothing gender specific...(or specific to my guy or Irian Jayas).

Color is not a factor that can be used in determining the sex of any of the Tiliqua species.
