lanierreptiles Jan 31, 2004 01:51 AM

I have been into pythons for over 10 years now and this is my FIRST Boa....After 2 days..I am still dazed over this girl. I think I am addicted to Hoggs and Boas now!!! her enclosure is a 36" Neodesha with a under tank heat pad, BIG water bowl, and a XLarge Wood hide(She loves hanging out here). NOW...I want to get a male (a NICE male) for her....Which bao breeders or dealers have NICE Hoggs? I really dont know a lot about the boa breeders since i have been with pythons for SOOO long. Any names and websites would be greatly appreciated!

That is a beautiful Hogg..

As far as people who produce and offer hoggs, I know that Jeff Ronne has a few each year available, but I do not believe he ever has them on his website.

Also Justin Higgs of Ectothermz.com has had hoggs as well..They are about all I know that produce hogg islands..

Good luck finding the perfect male for your female..

You never experience life until you have kids..then you realize what you should have done rather then what you did do

I'm pretty sure that Joel DuBay has a litter or two of Hoggs "in the oven". He is the Boaphile Plastics sales guy, and can be reached there. I am positive that Hogg Island boas will be plentiful this Spring. Another place to check might be with Rio Bravo, Gus has many different insular boas...nice ones too!
Good luck with the search. Hoggs are one of my favorites too!
