this is my first monitor but, it is a black rough neck and evrytime i put him down on the floor of the room he poops roght their. is this normal or it is weird. i no other animal do this to mark territory but do monitors.

depends ,it is a fairly new pet if it is it might just be a lttle timid ,and everything is probably new to him ,but i know for exaple one of my savannah poops on the floor every time i set him on the floor,...go figure...

Hello
I have a few BRNs and every single one of them goes on the floor when released. Which is why they aren't allowed out anymore. LOL They also do it when put in a new cage. The male will piss on every level.
