Are there any safe antibiotics to treat RI in gravid boas?

Most antibiotics used today won't cause a problem if used correctly. Aminoglycosides such as Amikacin and Tobramycin, cephalosporins such as Fortaz and Rocephin, and the Baytril fluoroquinolone relative known as Cipro, all have been used without risk to pregnancy. As always it would be best to consult with a vet, especially if using an antibiotic from a different group than listed above.
