Sunshine bulb from GE.

My husband just handed me a bulb to replace one that is getting old. It's called Sunshine from G.E. Its a full spectrum light with this technical data: Lumens 2250
Color temp 5000 degree k
90CRI
does that mean anything to anyone. If so does compare at all to the reptisun 5.0.

No it is not comparable to a ReptiSun5.0. The GE bulb gives off very little to no UVB light. Something like a ReptiSun gives off 30 times the amount of UVB light.

Glad to help. You can also let the husband know that the quote was directly from GE's website if he is a skeptic I highly recommend you get yourself a ReptiSun 5.0 also packaged as Iguana Light 5.0 by ZooMed. They are rediculously expensive at pet stores, but you can order one of the net for half the price. They have them at LLLReptile.com for 15-17bucks.
