Question

I found a vet in my area (finally) that will do fecals for my bearides.
My question is...would it cause problems if I prompted them for quick, fresh samples by soaking them.
In other words would it ruin the samples if they got wet?
I didn't get to talk to the actual vet, only the receptionist.
She confirmed they did fecals but wasn't sure about the water factor.
Unfortunately this was just before closing this afternoon and I won't have an answer until Monday or Tuesday and I was hoping to get samples in on Monday.
I haven't seen any definite signs of problems but my oldest girl just doesn't seem to have her same ole robust appetite and my youngest girl, although full bodied and healthy looking, just doesn't seem to be growing.
So, I obviously need to make sure all is well.
By the way, my male eats everything in site and is growing like a weed.
oh well, sorry to ramble.

Yes, you can soak them to poop. I grab mine with a small fishnet and plop it in to a baggie. ewww...lol
