I am juse wondering if it is ok to leave a regular light on constantly, this seems to be the only way to get the mealworms to move around enough to attract attention, I just worry it will mess with their cycle.
Any help is appreciated!

Leopard Geckos are nocturnal and do not see very well in bright light. The come out to eat when the sun goes down, so you are better off letting them hunt/eat in the dark or at least semi-dark.

Well guess it was pointless to buy mealworms, they just don't move around enough in the dark to get attention -_- And they are very well fed/moisturized
It wasnt pointless. Your geckos will learn where the food is and what the food is. My geckos come running out now when they see me fill the dish. It took a little while. If i remember correctly, you've only had yours for maybe a little more than a week. Give this some time. It doesnt happen overnight. I know its tough but your going to have to build up a little patience.

When I first started my leo on mealies, I just held them by their end two inches in front of her face. She snatched them up, then I went to dropping them in front of her. I hand feed every day, though I know sometimes schedules make that hard. You might wanna try hand feeding your leo for a day or two, just to let it know that the mealies are good and tastey.
I don't think mine trust me enough for that yet, 2/3 still run from me
well, what i do, is just keep a dish in there, and when it is finished eatind crickets an night, i just put one i front of her and then she eats it.
This is just a suggestion but you could get one of those red nightlight bulbs. It seems to work for me and mabye it will work for you.
