A few Pictures

draybar Jan 31, 2004 07:38 PM

Just thought I would post a few pictures.
The first is of my 125 gallon aquarium that I converted from a turtle tank to a beardie tank.
The picture is not very good but it gives a pretty good idea of the tank.
Unfortunately there are calcium streaks accross the front of the tank from years of "turtle water".
I tried bleach and distilled white vinegar to remove the calcium streaks but neither worked. I was afraid to use a strong cleaner suchs as CLR or something like that. I didn't want to leave any harmfull residue.

last but not least..Little Valkrie posing for the camera.

You may want to give Lime-a-Way a try to get rid of those waterlines, of course not while your BD's are anywhere near it. I know it woks real well on getting hard water spots off of boats so it may work in yur situation.

Nice pictures and setup... try a razor blade and water for the calcium streaks.. i've had great success watering down the deposits and scraping them off with water and a razor blade with saltwater deposits.

Maybe that will help you out with your problem.
