Question on Ultratherm Heat Pads

chiefmeat68 Jan 31, 2004 08:00 PM

I just finished my 48x24x18 cage using instructions from arbreptiles.com. Turned out pretty well for my first time. The question I have is whether I should stick to flexwatt or go with Ultratherm heat pads. Ultratherm seems to be worth the extra $10-$20. Any opinions would be appreciated. Also what I have read by researching Ultratherm is that it is used as a UTH and put on walls. I am assuming it can be used directly on the floor as well. If this is wrong let me know. Thanks for the ideas.

I've used mine on the floor with the only problem being when my boas "flood" their cage. You don't want to let it get wet if you can avoid it.
