well i went to the kentucky reptile expo today. there was a guy there from ohio who breeds nuthing but kings and rats. anyway, he had a bunch of hold back snakes born last august that he had decided to part with. well after looking at every snake that he had...lol....i decided on 1.1 cali's. the male is a striped chocolate, and the felmale is a banded banana. i wll try to get pics of the two later. for now they are being housed in 10 gallons, on aspen with a water dish and hiding spot in each. any info on what to do, or if you have any neet tricks are welcomed!!

Sounds like you have them set up a-ok. If the room you keep them in gets lower than about 65 degrees at night I may add a small undertank heater to each cage bottom, but they rarely need it when kept in normal room temps. GL to you!

I wouldn't worry about the nite time temps but it's always a good idea to provide a hot spot in the mid eighties during the day. At least on the few days after they've been fed.
