Some say yes some say no. In any way you look at it, the task is difficult. You can use visual aids like Hemipenile swelling around the base of the tail, eye color, Head shape or even body shape, or you can just watch them take a dump. That's what i did, and I'm pretty sure Flavia did that with her MTS. Works like a charm, if they are male they will drop 2 little sperm plugs along with some 'water', a chalky type substance, and poop. I have my Blueys on recycled rubber matting. It's like Astro turf but not, and it's black - so the seminal plugs are easily noticed. If you keep your blueys on Sand, dirt, leaf litter, or bark shavings, you more than likely won't be able to notice the plugs.
