Has anyone got any experience with these enclosures and what are your thoughts concerning them. After researching various enclosures I'm really starting to lean towards a vision. this would be model#433 dim.48"x28"x28" After considering the requirements of ackies and the sort of substrate (soil/sand mix keep smewhat moist to facilitate burrowing) which is highly recommended, I don't think wood or a melamine frame is a pratical choice. Glass is a poor insulator requiring additional heat sources. Also how are they heated, being plastic I can see potential problems with bulbs/ ceramic emitters. I would consider a heat panel, but I have never used one before I would be interested in input on panels as well. From what I have read Ackies like ambients of around 75-90 degrees with a basking spot of 120-140 degrees these are surface temps not necessarily air temps. Can these gradients be acomplished with a heat panel? This list could go on and on, I feel like I'm talking myself into a vision enclosure so anyone reading and responding to this let me hear your pros and cons with these enclosures. I realize this could become a lenghty post, I sure would be gratful for any input, as this is not a cheap purchase and I want to weigh everything prior to purchasing any enclosure. thanx, Clint
