Well I found spike today. Actually by accident. I was getting ready to clean and wanted an extension cord for the shop vac. I went to get in my small dresser I keep my animal supplies in and I heard something make noises when I opened the drawer. Here he got under the dresser and climbed up between the drawer and the side of the dresser. I was so afraid trying to get the drawer out so I could get him. I could hear the drawer scraping on his tail. I got him out and he looks fine, just alittle shaken up.
