I just bought a leopard frog and he was mixed with brown and green leopard's, he is green, does that mean he is southern? I reasearched them and they came up as both.

It is really hard to tell by color alone. We have northern leos around here that are both mainly green, and mainly bronzish. I think that southerns have fewer and larger spots on their bodies, but I could be wrong. I read that southern leos have a white spot in their eardrum denter, but I have seen northerns pictured who did too. Generally, S leos are more brownish.
