also to add to the first message this snake is vary snippy is there anything that i can do to tame it while it is still young??

I would suggest not handling the animal until it's a little larger. I don't handle animals until they are at least 1 year old, and sometimes older. Up to this age, these animals have very delicate spines that are easily damaged. Even though you don't notice the damage at first, it will show up when the snake starts to get some size. Wait until your snake is feeding on small mice before trying to handle it. Most of the time, hatchling are nippy just because they are trying to protect themselves from a giant hand. They usually start to calm down after a year or so, but all are different and some do not tame down at all. Just be patient.....it will pay off.
