I read in an article by James Wilson about blue tongues in a Reptiles magazine that male Blue Tongues shed seminal plugs daily. Is that daily only during the breeding season or once they're sexually mature?

Daily is inaccurate. I am sure that James would agree that this is out of context.

Male skinks (once of sexual maturity) will release seminal fluids often, or seldom, depending on the individual skink.

I have males that do this year round, once per week, and some that do it near daily in the spring, and not again for a month.

It was actually James Wilson that mentioned the "daily" word in his article.

I am well aware of what James wrote. What I meant was I am sure that Jame's intent was not to state that ALL male BT's relase seminal fluid EACH AND EVERY day, bacause it is simply untrue.

Why are you so keyed on the word "daily" and taking it as absolute? James also mentions the word "often" in the sentence. To me, not to mention owning male BT's that DO NOT release daily, indicates that it is variable. Yes, as I wrote, some will daily, some will not. Nothing is concrete or absolute with BT's.
