I am working on a petition to make corn snakes legal in GA, has anyone ever written one to change a reptile law
if anyone has any tips I am all ears.

You do not need a petition. you need to get a copy of the existing code and amend it. THen take it to your representatives and ask they insert it into the next general assembly session.

I have a copy of when the DNR last met and reviewed the law changes. The reason why it has not been changed is that legislature has not seen it as an issue.

Maybe no one asked.
I am getting a ban on carnivals with iguanas, turtles, rabbits, etc as prizes. THis is a plus for these animals. No one asked. There appears to be no opposition. THey did strike ome sentance so that Ducks Unlimited and hunt clubs still can raffle dogs.
What I am saying it that you need to make an appointment with your representatives and ask. Be able to answer questions and know where the support will come from.
