INTER-SPECIE COHABITATION

kyle_rex Feb 01, 2004 08:26 PM

would it be ok to house a brown anole with my beardie. My stupid brother bought an anole because he thought it was cool but he's got nowhere to put it, can i put it in with rex or should i give him away to someone else. Would it cause any stress towards my beardie? and can beardies actually die from stress? if so how much, like what would cause so much stress that he would die???

your beardie will probably kill it. The parasites the anole probably carries can also hurt your Beardie. They also have different husbandry needs

A beardie can certainly not live together with an anole, or any other species for that matter. Tell your "stupid brother" to take the anole back to where he god him from, or get a cage and setup for him. Seriously...who the heck buys an animal without even thinking about housing???
