a question about sahrans

xcrushingbelialx Jun 07, 2003 04:53 PM

Hello,
I'm looking to get a pair of Saharan Uromastyx here pretty soon. I would like to get one red and one yellow. Am I right in the assumption that breeding them would produce a mixture of reds, yellows, and oranges? Also, is breeding reds and yellows together generally frowned upon by the experts?

We can stick to just reds or just yellows if it's the appropriate thing to do.

Thanks in advance for any responses

i have seen the result of red/yellow and orange/yellows and they all have varied results. You can cross breed the colors and that is fine. it's all a personal choice i think.
