I found some duckweed on my trip to Broken Bow OK. Anyways I would like to know if there are any specific things I should do to keep it alive. All I know is that they need still water.
Thanks-R

Just keep it wet, and put some light to it. I have seen it reproduce after spending weeks in a plastic bag and being placed back in an aquarium.

I don't think you'll have any problem. The problem will be what to do with all the extra, because this stuff reproduces like mad. I hope you have some goldfish, as they will eat it like crazy.

If it stays moist you won't have any problem keeping it alive. Infact, you might have a problem with it taking over the water area and cutting off light to more important aquatic plants. Duckweed multiplies like mad so be prepared. It looks very nice though and for those small corner ponds or shallow water areas it works well. I placed a half dollar sized amount in a large water area about 2 months ago and it now covers an area roughly 4 inches by 7 inches. Good luck,
