after about 4 months by leos finally mated yesterday. I gave a few questions though. In how many days can i expect eggs. Also, i am clueless about hatching them and the material she should lay her eggs on.

You can expect eggs as soon as 2 weeks or as long as 4 weeks.. She should have a moist hide where she can lay her eggs...wet cypress mulch.. Spaghum moss or Vermiculite can be used in the hide... You'll want to incubate the eggs.. at between 80 and 83 for females.. 86-88 for males... Inside the vermiculite.. though people have had success with other mediums for hatching the eggs....I use Vermiculite.. but this is just my first year of breeding...

You can expect eggs in around 2-5 weeks, though mine usually take only 2. Make sure she has a bowl of calcium in her cage so she can lick up as much as she needs for the eggs, this is very important. For the laying box, use a container filled with peat moss or bed a beast, and keep it moist (I use this for my humid hide anyway so i didnt have to change anything) She'll lay in there when shes ready, but try not to handle her alot, because stressing a female may lead to her feeling stressed and she wont lay her eggs.
