As far as medium sized monitors, black roughnecks and anything in the gouldi complex make the best captives. Of course all monitors are a pain in the a@s and sane people do not attempt to foil their lives with them.
BRNs are not special, they are a midsize monitor that requires the same security, temps and food other midsize monitors require.
I would recommend reading lots of various sources about all kinds of monitors. Then you can pick up the 'gist' of what is working for them. Most importantly, learn who you can trust for info.
(ouch, i can't believe I said they were not special, that one hurt me...)

Thanks. I have one now and had four last year. It's not that I have no idea how to take care of them, it's more I never see anything posted or hear anything about them. They seem to be the least liked monitor in the world. I have no idea why.
