adult caging question

boastud Feb 02, 2004 12:09 AM

I want to build a cage for a 4' male black and white. I was told 6' x 3' x 2' would be suitable. What would be ideal? Also i would love some imput from people who have built large setups for their tegus to see what materials they used, and pics would be great!!!

A 6' by 3' by 2' is a bare minimum if not big enough for a 4' tegu. You usually want a cage double or triple their size in length. For you a 8' would be good. My cage is 12' by 4' by 2' and my female red tegu is only about 3'.
