When I suggest the use of supplements I recommend Centrum. I only use this every week or 2 for my animals. I've been using that for over 15 years now. Afew years ago it was used in a study that determined it had the most balanced ratio of all those tested. I would think that the others have caught up by now. T-rex has a new supplement that looks promising but I haven't used that very long. It's called Tortoise Dust.
The topic of supplements, like diet, is highly subjective and it seems that a great deal of 'a little this and a little that' goes into the development of most of the stuff.

Trying to keep the fun in Chelonian care
I did use Reptivite and Repti-Cal (which are designed to work
together but can't be mixed and sold together) when Teddy was
small - first year. Just a matchhead amount sprinkled onto
his greens (he got no mazuri till he was almost 2 yrs. old)
I have since switched to cuttlebone. If I had a hatchling now
I'd probably go with the same routine but would have started
adding cuttlebone alternately with the repti-routine. When I
used it - it was 2-3 times weekly. Now I put cuttlebone on
his mazuri every time which is about 3 times a week he gets it.
