How do you feed the turtles worms? Do they need to be cut up or whole? Which one is better for them, Earth or Blood worms? How often should they be fed to them? Oregano's diet is plants, hatchling sticks and feeders. Thanks

i'm not sure the answer myself but yesterday I gave my lil guy a cube of blood worms & they sank right to the bottom & he followed them right down & stayed there till they were all gone. he wouldnt even let the guppies get a tiny piece..lol so i dont know if they're good for him but he loved every second. so if no one replies i will continue to use blood worms
Hi,
In my opinion, variety is key. If you have access to both, offer both. Then toss in some other bugs too while you're at it. Just lay off the fatty stuff.
You can cut worms up if they're too big but I like giving mine whole...just small size ones for the babies and bigger nightcrawlers for the larger turtles. I've never bought worms however; mine have always come from my backyard, woods, etc.
Johnny
