umm, kinda OT spiders come in with shipments of crickets

ok, hey i work at petsmart and well when we get our crix shipments from armstrong's cricket farm we always have these spiders that come in with them, well i heard from some1 that the are poisonis, can't remember what type they are but yea, bottom line i now have one, lol, cuz i accidently bagged it with my crickets, i'd kinda like to keep it if its not too poisonis, lol, or prefferably not at all, anyone got any clue if it is or not, i'll try to get a pic, yea, also how would i go about taking care of it thanks a lot

Well... all spiders are venomous, it's how they eat. But the vast majority can do no harm to you, and there are only 2 in the US (black widow and brown recluse) that are known to give major bites. So... if it's cute, keep it!

I once had a shipment of crickets come with 2 brown recluse spiders. Scarey thing is I almost touched one not realizing what it was at first... I killed them and I.D. them. So My suggestion would be to get a picture of it and get it IDed asap. If you don't want to kill it, Fine, Just get a pic of it and make sure it can't get out of what you're keeping it in! But You should definatly ID the thing before deciding to keep it....

we've had a shipment from one place that had a few spiders it in. my girfriend seen them not me. i was working when she opened up the box. she killed them, who knows what they were!
